What’s the problem?
Africa contributes less than 1% to the global research output. This gets worse with the research in health and climate change nexus, a fairly new domain of health research! This means that specific and contextualized data on Africa’s diversity and uniqueness misses out when various mitigation, adaptation, and resilience strategies, services, and products are being designed. We wanna change that by doing or disseminating your local research!
Research Dissemination the marvelous way!
While Africa produces less research, it is also true that there is less utilization of the available evidence. Experts warn that it may take more than 17 years before a scientific discovery is incorporated into action. One problem that makes research translation impossible is POOR RESEARCH DISSEMINATION, disconnecting research findings from actors (policymakers, business owners, and the general public). We wanna change that too; we facilitate the dissemination of your research findings. How?
