VICENT nemeyimana

Born in 1989 in Kibaya Village, Bunagana Parish, Muramba Subcounty, Kisoro District (Uganda), Vicent or Nemvicx is a nurse and public health professional, an award-winning entrepreneur, CEO and Co-founder at Miklah Life, a pro-sustainability and tech-oriented training, research, and innovation center for pro-sustainability youth entrepreneurs.

He is a writer of blogs and E-books, researcher, and capacity-builder. He is also a health science lecturer. He is married to Amulen Winfred and blessed with 3 children.

His passionate work and initiatives have been awarded and recognized, nationally and internationally, including the Total Startupper of the year 2019 (Uganda & France), Tony Elumelu Foundation 2019 (Nigeria), UNCAP (Germany), Arab Youth Center award for climate-related agri-tech initiatives (AYC; Egypt), NTF IV (Uganda and UK), etc. Vicent’s motivation is to transform lives of more than 20,000 young people by 2030, empowering & enabling them to start green businesses, and leading their own socioeconomic transformation.

Because of his skills and innovations, Vicent has travelled across the world, showcasing his work and contributing to different sustainability policies under the UN, specifically through the UNEP and UNFCCC processes.

As both a health professional and health-sustainability entrepreneur, Vicent is blessed with variou skills. These skills have been enhanced through practical experience and professional knowledge. Below are some of Vicent’s skills:

Ride a motorbike, drive a car (manual and automatic), write great well-researched articles, both academic and creative, design any type of websites with WordPress, video and photo editing, start and run YouTube, blogging, graphics design with Canva, public speaking, teaching and guest-speaking, sing, produce music, write research proposals and dissertations, email marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, analyse qualitative data, analyse quantitative data (basic SPSS), make business plans or project proposals, counsel and mentor, do tens of nursing procedures, do CPR and hundreds of first aid maneavers, dig land with a hoe (cultivate), Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, design thinking, burn charcoal, and date a woman!
