Triple Planetary Crisis & Health

According to the World Health Organization, thousands of people die each year from direct hazards like fires, floods, earthquakes, heatwaves, and diseases due to climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss. 4.5m annual deaths are due to pollution-related disease hazards and climate change alone kills more than 400,000 each year through hunger and diseases. Biodiversity loss related to issues like disease outbreaks (COVID-19 and others) is even worse. The triple planetary crisis also affects healthcare systems worldwide, making it hard for the already vulnerable populations to access care. 90% of those who succumb to climate-related disasters are in Africa! Miklah is at the forefront of this fight. How?
