MY BIOGRAPHY: THE GREATNESS THAT MUST EXPLODE. PART ONE

Nemvicx, as he is called mostly by his gospel music fans, was born on 04/01/1989 in a small village called Kibaya found in the parish of Bunagana, Muramba sub-county in Kisoro district, one of the coldest districts found in the south western Uganda. His parents are Nsabimana Boniface and Nyirakubanza Josephine who live in the same address. He was second last in the family of about 10 children (7 boys and 3 girls). His family background was one of the poorest in the region which somehow accounts for low education of his siblings.
In 1997, the government of Uganda introduced Universal Primary Education (U.P.E) where pupils would pay no school fees and this enabled Vicent’s parents to enroll him in the government program. He started primary school classes in 1997 in Bunagana Primary School and finished primary level in the same school in 2003. Despite the challenges of his poor background, Nemvicx was clever in his studies and was always the first in his classes. He had performed best in his final UNEB examinations when he completed primary level and was received by his sub-county to be sponsored for his secondary education which he started in 2004.
His secondary life was one of the challenging events in his life for he would travel 20 kilometers everyday from Monday to Friday and he would spend each day without lunch for he was in a day school called Kabindi secondary school and his family could neither afford his transport nor money for his lunch at school.
In 2005, Nemvicx joined The Baptist church, one of the strong born-again churches in Uganda following his cousin Mutabazi Emmanuel who later became his pastor in Bunagana Baptist church. During these times, Vicent was struggling with poverty and depression for life miseries had scared his life. However, as he testifies, his pastor gave him inspirational books to read among which there was a book called MAKING THE MOST OF LIFE by Leroy Brownlow which changed his life and revived his spirit to fight through life with positive thinking. Soon, Vicent got rid of his depression and worthlessness and pursued his studies with one heart.
In 2007, Nemvicx finished his secondary education of Ordinary (O) level in first grade and stayed home for two months holiday before joining Advanced (A) level of secondary education. It is in this holiday that he did much of song composition and singing in the church choir, read a lot of novels and books and started figuring out what he wanted to be in life. His joining A level where school fees were high and yet the government sponsorship had expired was a great challenge. However, by the help of their church overseer Rev. Mbonyebyombi George, he was connected to another reverend of the Anglican Church called Rev. Mbabazi Ephraim who had a charity organization, Peace-Education Trust Uganda (PET-UGANDA) and Vicent was enrolled in the organization and a half of the high school fees would be catered for and he would cater for the remainder himself. This made Vicent happy though he wasn’t sure how he would cover up the remaining part of the school fees.
In 2008, Nemvicx joined St. Paul’s Mutolere high school, one of the best and known schools in Kisoro and the whole south western Uganda. It is in this school that Vicent discovered most of his gifts and talents. In the first months, he managed to top up his school fees by savings of money that well-wishers would give him but in the last year he failed as the pressure for his scientific studies increased.
However, because of his famous traits, public speaking, singing and other famous notes, he was favored by the headmaster of the school who allowed him to bring his parents to sign an agreement with the school that allowed Vicent to study on Credit. This was done and Vicent studied smoothly till his completion in 2009. It is in this school that Nemvicx proved to the world that he was a great young orator and he was voted as the general speaker of the school council. Also, it is in this school that he started working on his book which he later called THE 3 LOVES WE NEED after his 3 articles in school magazine had been quoted as inspiring and motivational.
