Why you shouldn’t quit: Things won’t get better.

I watched an adventurous movie called The Lord Of Rings. In this movie, fate dictates on some young men from the middle earth( The hobbits) who are forced by the situation to destroy a dangerous evil ring that was soon destroying their lives. The journey to Mt. Doom where the ring was to be destroyed was one of the toughest, tier e and dangerous one. Hunger, hatred, tiredness, betrayals, evil and true friendship, deception, lack, sickness, and all sorts of troubles characterised the journey.

At one point, the one carrying the ring would say, ” Oh God, what a trouble! I guess i should not have taken the task. Now i would be home, enjoying the air, flying the kites, eating and drinking, but here i am, surrounded by evil and there is no hope, we will surely die and an evil death. We needed to quit”. His friend, Sam, would remind him that there would be no home if the ring was not destroyed. It would still be a sure evil death if the ring was not burnt. Somehow, their elders words, ” When situations are tough, the question of why so, or of regretting and yearning for the past helps not. In such circumstances, the mind should concentrate on what to be done to survive the situation and move on” would sound in the them, hope wakes up, and the deadly journey continues again.

Fortunately, through troubles and temptations, the journey is made, the evil ring destroyed, and the world reborn together with happiness. Have you snatched my point today?

Your journey must have been tough or your situation is currently demanding your life. At workplace, things might be heating you up or debts are almost expelling you out of the nation. You may be facing greater opposition and hatred plus an ending betrayals and sometimes you wonder what is it that you are protecting to bear all of such humiliation! I almost lost the woman i loved because the pressures were high and every day’s tortures were getting worse but somehow i stayed on the road. So your situation may be asking you to QUIT, LEAVE, STOP and go back to your roots, go back home, go back to your past sins, surrender to your past haters, give up on the course, surrender to the opposition, but the question is one: If you QUIT, are things going to be better than they are now???

That is the question that guides your option now. Are they going to love you and promote your whole life if you drop your woman? Are things going to be easy if you quit that job and sit at home? Are you going to have a better life if you quit salvation and go back to your old life? Are you sure it is going to be alright if you stopped what you are pursuing and rest under a tree? Tell me, are people going to treasure you because you dropped your dream that was disturbing their comfort? Do you think your life is gonna be saved after you surrender to your enemies an evil opposition?

If your answer to the questions honestly is YES, then QUIT. And if your honest answer to the above questions is NO, then move on. Really, the truth is that high chances are that you will suffer more after you have quited and thus i advise you to go on. Things are not just going to be better by you quitting, maybe, if you just do some changes in your strategies but not just stopping. Remember, no farmer who digs as he looks behind deserves the kingdom. Once you started, complete the journey unless the journey was a wrong one.

Are you planning to quit? Things won’t be better when you quit, they will be worse. You have no other choice but to push on and find your dream or destiny. No retreat No surrender. Don’t quit. We love you.
