How do you handle constipation?

Hey, we have shared so much about our health and today we have something that seem common yet dangerous, constipation. What is constipation? Constipation simply refers to infrequent bowel movements and hard or difficult defection. Scientists insist that three signs are important to diagnose that someone has constipation; 1. Infrequent bowel movements (three or fewer times of passing stool per week), 2. Straining or difficulty passing stool (yeah, when you rock your breath and use your abdominal muscles to push stool out), and 3. The feeling that there is incomplete emptying of your bowel (yeah, you feel fecal matter is still hanging in there). Actually, the last two matter most even when you are trying daily. So what do you think? Could you be experiencing it?…………

What causes constipation?
This is a hard question to answer in our simple words, but it is important to note that there two forms of constipation (obstructed and the one due to hypo mobility of our intestine). The causes of constipation range from functional, structural, psychological and even idiopathic causes. Okay, to make this easy for anyone reading this, let us summarise them…..
Constipation may be due to functional problems of your intestines in case of underlying diseases like hypothyroidism, electrolyte imbalances or metal poisoning like lead poisoning. Lesions on the spinal cord, hirshsprung’s disease and many more can also induce constipation. In case those words are so confusing, it is only important to know that we are talking about your intestines not pushing or propelling food as they should due to problems with your brain or nervous system or other diseases of the lumen……
Another cause of constipation may be due to obstruction in conditions like intestine cancers, recital and anal polyps, and others. In this case, your intestines are trying to push the stool out, but their lumen is smaller due to swellings or totally sealed off. What happens is that you won’t be able to pass stool. This is possible but rare for most of the constipation we have. In case, it is the cause, we are likely to end up in the hospital……
Another common cause is behavioral or dietary. I mean people who do not take enough fibres, perform no physical exercises, no water, and are always immobile. This is so common among women, children and the elderly. And by the way, it is likely the cause of your constipation……..
Constipation can also happen due to some drugs like antihistamines, opioid like morphine, diseases like diabetes and so much more. Another cause is psychological, that is the person fears to experience pain on defection and keeps postponing or is in busy places and does not want to go to toilet….. There are thousands of causes, it is just very much IMPORTANT to note that constipation is not a disease in itself, but a sign or symptom that something else is going on. Yeah, while this other thing may not necessarily be a serious health condition, it is still something outside itself that is bringing about constipation like not taking enough water. Knowing the cause of constipation is one sure way of dealing with it…. .
So how do you tell that you have constipation????……
Of course, We started with signs and symptoms and it must not be hard for you to know that your child or woman is off, but to be sure, your doctor may need to do some checks especially to determine the cause of your always-present constipation….
Observing your belly may show signs of abdominal distention, there can be bloating and other signs. Also palpation may reveal the stuck fecal matter within your intestines. A doctor may do physical examination on your anus, oh no, call it rectum to rule out fissures, polyps or inadequacy of your rectum as in some children. Some tests like X ray, barium meal and others may be necessary to rule out the cause. By the way, it is good to know that constipation is common in children, women and elderly, but also can occur in men………
So then what? What is the treatment??…
Of course, the treatment depends on the cause. However, here are your first way to go; eat as many fibres as possible, include fruits and vegetable so much. These will release your intestines and you will feel the happiness of passing stool. And eh do you know some source of cheap fibres? Cabbages. Okay, your next thing is to train your intestines by trying the toilet every after meal. Remember to take enough water daily and so some jogging too, i mean exercises. How about the drugs you are taking? Check all of them and see if there are some that could be causing you the problem and then avoid them, make a change or include a counteracting one…….
In case you need some treatment, rectal glycerine is so good, also syrup lactulose ( is it a syrup by the way? Oh no, it is like a drink). Some drugs like bisacodyl are so good in case of constipation due to drugs like morphine, and eh you could have enemax or enema done on you. For enema or enemax, you need an experienced person so you do not get your rectum injured (see me, hahahahaha). Remember, successful treatment involves dealing with the cause too. So as we earlier saw, any diseases like diabetes, cancer, or neurological disorder has to be felt with. Sometimes, surgery may be important to correct conditions like polyps, inadequate rectum or anus, cancers, Intestinal obstruction etc. The good news is that your constipation is likely not because you have dangerous diseases behind so the above remedies will definitely work for you……
And lastly, i cannot forget it: C24/7 or Complete phyto-energizer may be the only answer you need…..
