The Midwives and Nurses Voice Uganda (M.A.N.V.U) is a nonprofit, nonreligious and nonpolitical organization which was formed by a group of committed and dedicated medical workers, nurses, midwives, doctors and nonmedical people with passion and commitment to save lives.
MANVU is fully registered and works under Ministry of Health guidelines.
It has its head offices in Buziga, Kampala District. The organization aims at providing health services to the people of Uganda in hard to reach places by conducting outreaches.
The organization has no official donors and only survives on contributions from its members and well-wishers to fund its activities.
MANVU prides in team work, integrity, self-reliance and gender equity.
The organization envisions it’s as the leading medical leaning charity organization that brings services close to people, working in collaboration with the local heath structures to reduce mortality and morbidity among Ugandans living in hard to reach areas
