Miklah Outreaches

Miklah Outreaches for Sexuality Education, Leadership, & Sustainable Entrepreneurship

– In addition to being 100% online, Miklah uses school outreaches, events, and conferences to reach out and empower youth and adolescents from wherever they are.

We’re committed to transforming youth and adolescents into fully empowered and productive citizens leading Uganda & Africa’s socioeconomic transformation. If the youth don’t come to us, we find them wherever they are – through #MiklahOutreaches!

Miklah Outreaches: What we Talk about

1. Reproductive Health & Rights

We rely on available scientific evidence, prepare amazing learning content and relevant topics addressing young people’s challenges in their sexual and reproductive health. Our content is designed in line with Uganda National Sexuality Education Framework 2018, keeping us culturally-appropriate and relevant to learners’ contexts.

2. Skills & Education ↗

Uganda’s education has been blamed for producing unskilled graduates unfit for modern-day employment. As a result, youth unemployment & business failure are the highest in the region. We practically teach digital skills to young people, positioning them for employment and business growth.

3. Leadership & Civic engagement ↗

Young people need to move from just complaining and highlighting what’s not working to leading socioeconomic changes they desire. We directly provide resources and tools, and inspire young people to lead change in their businesses, organizations, or local governments

4. Sacred Entrepreneurship ↗

We introduce young people to sustainable development and the magic in applying innovative entrepreneurship to solve problems. Our outreaches use design thinking methodologies, and empower and guide youth and adolescents as they think & design amazing solutions for their problems.

5. And lastly, SWAPafrica Library of Things. When youth and adolescents need equipment to move forward, and they don’t have it, we provide it through our library of things. At our library, we allow Miklah Life Youth and adolescents to borrow whatever equipment or item or resource they need just as people borrow books from library. When one is done with the equipment or resource, he returns it back, making it available for others. In this way, few equipment and resources serve many, creating lasting relationships, saving the planet, and encouraging minimalism. Visit the library at https://miklahlife.com/SWAPafrica.
