Miklah Customer Referral Program focuses on rewarding referrers of clients with about 10% of the price the client has paid for a service or product.

Basically, Miklah is a non-profit. However, to sustain our free services and products, we incorporate some paid-for services and products within our main work or design separate services and products or businesses that users can pay for, usually at a subsidized price. Clear? Well, here is the great deal!

Our workers are mostly volunteers. However, we thought it fair to share with them whatever little income we get from the available paid-for services and products. This is what Miklah Customer Referral Program is all about. For every client that a volunteer or any other individual, including the public brings in, 10% of the income (not just the profit, but income) instantly goes back to the individual or volunteer who referred the client and made sure the client bought the service or product.

6 Initiatives under Miklah Customer Referral Program

1. Miklah Academy. Miklah Academy is preparing young people for today and tomorrow’s employment and business success by training them in modern-day digital skills. Mostly, each course costs Ugx 55k and 100k for a group of 2-5 people. In case a client takes a course, and a volunteer or any other person made it possible, the referrer gets 5,500 and 10,000 respectively.
2. Sacred Entrepreneurship. Sacred Entrepreneurship is a business training, incubation, and funding program for social and environment friendly businesses or entrepreneurs. Any person who joins this program is trained on starting a sustainable business or incorporating sustainability and perfecting business model for an existing one! Additionally, participants get enrolled in Miklah Funding Program and get their businesses freely added into our business directory. Training is Ugx 55k for individual and 100,000 for a group or micro-business. Referrers earn as for Miklah Academy.
3. Research Ward. Ast Research Ward, we do, teach, and publish research, both academic and commercial or business research. Writing a proposal is at 250,000 for diploma and bachelor, and a report is at 250,000 for bachelor and just 200,000 for Diploma. For Master’s degree, a proposal is at 300,000 and report at 300,000. Total research costs are 450k for diploma, 500k for bachelor, and 600k for master’s. Other kinds of researches have varying prices. NB: For students, we don’t just do for them; we also teach them, all at the same price. How much is 10% of 250k or 600k? Lol.
4. Miklah Shop. Miklah Shop has a lot in store. We have E-books at Ugx 5,000, various services, courses, and physical items, including laptops, smart phones, and TVs. Whatever we sell through you, you get 10% commission. Some items aren’t ours too; in this case, you earn 10% on our earned commission.
5. SWAPafrica. This is Miklah’s Library of Things. Just as people borrow books from library, people (members and non-members) borrow equipment and related skills or services. Any member of the library that joins through you, you get 10% of their membership fee. Any public person who hires or borrows our equipment, you get 10% of the fee paid.
6. Yapheh Salons. This is a unique technology oriented business that offers a salon booking platform based on one’s location just like Uber does. Basically, it is the Uber or SafeBoda of salons. You need a salon service? Open the app or visit the website, yaphehsalons.com, select your location, add your service, and preferred time, and choose a nearest salon of your choice. Our business model here is, we earn 20% on every client we give to a salon. It means you as a referrer will earn 10% on our earned 20%. For example, if we gave a client of 80k to salon X, our earning is 16k, and your commission is 10% of 16k, which is Ugx 1,600. You may see it little, but that is only if we don’t refer as many clients as possible per day. Assume we had 100 clients use our app per day, that would roughly be 1.6m. And assume you actually referred 100 clients per week or even per month, that would be 160k. So, just balance the boat!
