Inspired by SDG number 8, decent work and economic growth, and being a sustainability-oriented social enterprise, Miklah has developed the Miklah Volunteers Program. This program is for fresh graduates, whether degree or diploma holders, who are looking for work experience in small, dynamic, and sustainability-focused startups.
The program is non-paid and lasts for only 6 months with options for extension. As some volunteers get out, we will be receiving new ones. We want to give this opportunity to as many volunteers as possible.
About Miklah Life Limited:
Miklah is a tech-driven pro-sustainability social enterprise that is designing and deploying innovative solutions for young people’s challenges in health, education, entrepreneurship, and governance or leadership. Our innovations and entrepreneurship align with sustainability principles of profits, people, and the planet (3Ps).
Informed by Uganda Vision 2040, The global agenda of 2030, NDP III, and Africa’s agenda of ‘The Africa We Want’ 2063, we are creating a demographic dividend by addressing pressing issues that hinder socioeconomic transformation among youth and adolescents. We achieve this through a list of initiatives or projects.
As can be seen from our various initiatives, volunteers will be required to be open-minded and deliver under various working groups.
General Duties of Volunteers
