Why hold onto people who don`t value you anymore?

You see, you must be working yourself to convince some people that you are really good. Unfortunately, the more you try to please them, the more mistakes you make and look even more ugly than before. This is a sickness that can bring doom not only to your body but to your soul too. Actually, many people are just there waiting to find a vulnerable person like you to exploit for their own intentions. Yeah, it is important to try to improve and be nice as people expect but unhealthy practice of this virtue could be the only demon demolishing you.

I am saying this for i lived it. It was in school, during my college times. The school got my steps out of the track once and that was the beginning of my doom. That simple mistake was exploited by those who had no soul and it was used as a leverage against me from recovering my self. I lived in fear, in self pity and guilty and almost lost myself trying to clear my name before people who never cared whether i was clean or dirty. Thank God i fell in love and my eyes got opened and i started knowing what exactly to fight for.

I am sure you are getting my point. There are enemies who don`t care whether you are wrong or right as long as their agenda is going forward. There are people who will use your simple mistakes to torment you as if they are innocent. There are people who are close to you who have stopped you from living your life and doing what pleases you because you want to assure them that you are not what they call you: You are a good person. The problem is they will never confess that you have really made it but will judge you up to your grave.

And i ask, what are you still doing with such people? What are you still trying to prove? That you are not a thief as they call you? That you are not a prostitute as they claim? Stop that nonsense and live your life. Search your soul, understand what you enjoy and what makes you happy and then go for that. Stop trying to convince people that you are good, convince your God. I am telling you that people who made me live in hell years back up to now do not believe in me yet the world got convinced. And i have made a decision never to try to please or convince them that i am good but to live my life and to the fullest.

What am i saying? You know exactly what i am saying: Stop living someone`s life, live yours. Stop getting depressed over people who threaten to leave you, the world is full of people and trees. Sometimes, trees can be better friends. Sto proving to us with your life that you are good so we stop calling you names, prove to your God and consider the name He gives you. I was lost and now i am found, thanks to God and Love. My brother and my sister, do the same and find happiness.
