Good News: Yapheh Salons in talks with Movit for Possible Partnership!
Hello friends of Miklah and Miklah Initiatives, here is the news: Yapheh Salons in talks with Movit for Possible Partnership!
Yapheh Salons, the Miklah’s initiative that enables you to book for salon and spa services from wherever you are and get served by your favorite service providers near you, is in talks with Movit for possible partnership! If this happens, our salon partners will benefit a lot as they will be exclusively accessing all MOVIT beauty products at lowest prices and credit!
In a presentation made to MOVIT through Karemera Ibrahim, the MOVIT B2B Manager, and his team, Yapheh Salons showcased the creativity in the #MobileBeauty app and the exact benefits MOVIT would reap if this partnership happened. Yapheh Salons web and mobile app enables salon service providers to register their salons onto the platform and begin meeting clients’ salon needs online.
Additionally, the salon service requested can be delivered to where the client is (home or workplace) or the client decides to come to the salon. Payments can be made online through mobile money, Visa, and or by cash after the service. This saves a lot of problems that both salon owners and their clients were meeting!

Mr. Karemera and the team were excited about the whole idea and promised to push for partnership. In their remarks, the team asked Yapheh Salons to prepare a detailed formal request, detailing the expectations Yapheh Salons has from MOVIT and the exact benefits MOVIT is likely to reap if it agrees to the partnership and provided all the necessary support for Yapheh Salons growth and expansion.
The detailed formal request was sent in on February 13th 2021, and we are now waiting for a feedback. Yapheh Salons is an initiative of Miklah, the tech-driven Christian-based entity that is solving young people’s problems in health, education, entrepreneurship, etc through innovative initiatives, and has so far registered more than 20 salons and served a number of clients.
NB: Don’t forget that we are also in discussions with the Ministry of ICT for possible endorsement, support, and or partnership. In a letter dated 30th September, we wrote to the ministry requesting for endorsement and funding. According to the recent feedback, the office of the Minister of ICT through Permanent Secretary forwarded our request to Commission R&D for study and then a brief recommendation to the minister, which will inform her final decision in regards to our request. If everything goes well, then Yapheh Salons’ future is even bigger than we had anticipated.
