Back to my story
My creativity in terms of singing and writing started back when I was in secondary school. Indeed, I wrote my first book, THE 3 LOVES WE NEED, while in high school and composed my first songs while in secondary school. In 2013, I graduated with diploma in nursing. In July 2014, God blessed me with job opportunity at Mulago National Referral Hospital, where I still work.
My first day at work was hilarious; I discovered that my work station had free INTERNET. My interests in technology, writing, singing, inspirational speaking and the like had introduced me to what is called BLOGGING. Having free internet motivated me to research more about blogging. Soon, I opened up my inspirational blog, THE COMPLETE YOU PROJECT (July 2014). I started writing, sharing on social media and I really enjoyed it. I was using BLOGGER, Google’s free blogging platform.
As my writings improved and the blog grew, The Complete You Project changed to ‘The Complete You Ministry’ and now to ‘MIKLAH’, the website you are on right now! I improved from using blogger’s subdomain to my own customized domain (first to nemvicx.com and later to www.miklahlife.com), and from the highly limited blogger to WORDPRESS, not wordpress.com but wordpress.org; I BECAME SERIOUS!
SURPRISE: Up to now, I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING LIKE CODING! I cannot code even one word using HTML, the simplest computer language available. And yet I have used BLOGGER and now WORDPRESS like a pro! There is barely nothing I cannot do with WORDPRESS! And I want you to just be like that! But why? Where is the catch? How did it all begin? Keep reading!
In 2018, I saw an advert on the TV. It changed my life. TotalEnergies was looking for innovative ideas to fund. Well, I had billions of ideas, but had no idea how to bring them to life! That is when WordPress saved my life. I had come across it during my bloggging struggles, but never taken time to explore it. However, with this new advert and my amazing business idea, I knew WordPress was my savior.
I took it to YouTube, WordPress communities and blogs and grasped something.
With my little knowledge of WORDPRESS, I single-handedly sat in my room and designed SWAPafrica, and was able to come up with a presentable MVP in two weeks. This is the business I presented to a panel of judges in my first entrepreneurship competition and won UGX30M cash and a lot of advertisement! Wait! My life was never the same!

I believe it is WordPress that ushered me into the United Nations space as well. In brief, WordPress changed my life.
