The people suffering under the collapsed law and judiciary in Uganda are these;

1. The tenants: Many people renting are mistreated by their landlords. They are charged any money, given no extension period for those wanting to shift, living in unpainted or renovated rooms and so on. Other injustices concern water and electricity, some pay fixed electricity charges like 25000 yet are using even less than 1000, some are being sold water at 300-500 per jerrycan. All these are injustices.

2. Women and children. These people are suffering both under their own people (i mean their husbands and parents or relatives) and then under the collapsed justice systems in the country. There has been and there is still ongoing domestic violence and child abuse and these people have nowhere to report. They need a savior too.
3. The employees. Many organisations including the government have no respect for the staff. Many staff work while sick, they are paid less, not involved in decision making, their children or partners not recognised or considered. And lastly, they are disrespected, you find a young man of 35 is rebuking an old woman of 40 because he is a boss, they do not know how to sit and talk but abusing. Just because they gave you a job, that is all, you do not have to complain
4. Small business owners. There has been over taxing of these guys and their businesses disrupted minus clear information and back up plan. These guys need defence, they need lawyers.
5. Patients. These are among the most mistreated people in Uganda. The most injustice faced is the failure of their service providers to provide information regarding their conditions and treatment. Drugs are written and given minus discussion, doctors change drugs daily making the patients lose a lot of already bought drugs, they are charged a lot in hospitals and pharmacies, they are among the highly exploited service seekers in Uganda.
Other people that human rights activists need to look at are the prisoners, the children, the disabled people and marginalized ones, the street children, and maybe the freedom and rights of armed forces like the police and army, they are so much used in activities not related to the work they signed for, they need tough and serious lawyers for defense.
Who else do you think is suffering most in our collapsed court, law, human rights and judicial complex???
