Sacred Entrepreneurship is Miklah’s Initiative to train and empower more than 100 individuals & businesses per cohort in starting and growing social and environment friendly or sustainable or SDGs-oriented businesses that defend our planet and serve our people. In other words, we make YOU a Sacred Entrepreneur!
Whether you are just starting out the journey of entrepreneurship or have been there, we are the right incubation and empowerment facility for you, especially when it comes to starting and growing social and environment friendly businesses.
As already said, your business will also be added into our directory for free, and be enrolled into our funding program where we will one-on-one help you identify & apply & possibly win over some funding opportunities and fellowship opportunities like Mandela Washington Fellowship, COP28 and all the coming COPs, Rotary Peace Fellowships, and many more.
In our previous cohorts, we have managed to support the launch of 75 new SDGs-focused initiatives, empowered 300 SMEs in incorporating sustainability in their business models, and connected 5 of our green entrepreneurs to funding, at an average of 15k USD per entrepreneur. Additionally, as #MiklahLife, we have managed to take part in important international conferences and fellowships, including COY17 & COP27 (Egypt), UNEP SAICM Beyond 2020 (Nairobi, Kenya), UN-Habitat Assemby II (Kenya), and Mandela Washington Fellowship 2023 (USA).
And now the new cohort of Miklah Fund & Sacred Entrepreneurship program is open.
What is Sacred Entrepreneurship?
The program lasts for ONLY 4 months, with a lot of breaks. It isn’t intense and will allow every entrepreneur to keep up with his business without any troubles. The program includes some on-site physical events as well as online events. Mostly, we rely on the online option unless there is a need to physically meet. In brief, this program is made up of 4 offers:
- For those with no business, get trained & equipped using DESIGN THINKING and begin launching a social and environment friendly initiative like a pro! Details here.
- For those with existing businesses, get trained and equipped in aligning your supply chain with SDGs, polish your business model, and get ready for funding and other opportunities. Details here.
- A free business directory for all participants, with all tools for online business execution whether you have a website or not. Details here.
- Funding for your initiative. Currently, we don’t offer direct funding, but practically train, mentor, and guide you in identifying and applying for available funding opportunities. Details here.
Remember, even when the actual program or cohort is done, you and your business remain part of the MIKLAH ecosystem forever, and your access to the business directory is forever. So, this is the best place for you.
Conditions of joining the Sacred Entrepreneurship program
By the applying, you are enrolling into our program, and willing to these two major conditons:
Condition 1. Paying the one-time payment of UGX 55,000 or 15USD (individual) or 100,000UGX or 27 dollars (a team of 2-5 people) for registration, commitment, and all the training modules. See details, including our exact role as MIKLAH here: https://miklahlife.com/funding.
Condition 2. If we work with you and together win over any funding for your business, 10% of the total fund is our one-time payment for our services. For example, if you got a grant of 10k USD, 1KUSD is for Miklah Life. We only get paid when you win. When you lose, we also lose! See more at https://miklahlife.com/funding.
