Winnie & Vicent Marriage Anniversary’s Message: Marry & Start a Family, Stop Jokes!

I and Winnie met each other in 2011 and we were both students at a certain nursing institution. Later, as we approached the end of our programs (2013), we became more than ‘just friends’; we started dating. And, despite all the troubles and challenges, we were able to be together as a family in 2014. Today, 10th December 2019, we are celebrating our five years in marriage, sharing bad and good times! And, genuinely, it has been fun, a lot of it! What are you waiting for?

In these days, it is easy for young men and women to be convinced by the capitalism message that, in life, love and family don’t matter; to most, all that matters is money, business success. Apparently, i have often seen ‘accomplished and celebrated’ women saying, and i quote, ‘marriage is not a success!’ They convince the world that making it in life means making money, flying often and having control. How i wish you met these women in their private chambers! Only tears!

Additionally, most young people think they have time, a lot of it! For this reason, they never take relationships serious. Most young men and women hurt their friends easily and don’t care moving on into other relationships, which they also shutter and again move on. But let me tell you this; you don’t have time, not at all. One day, you will wake up and you won’t be as fresh as you think. And friends shall have moved on.

Our message to you is, find love, take it serious, marry and start your family. My dear friend, stop jokes. Marrying and starting a family comes with challenges and hustles as well but, yeah, there is happiness along the way. Actually, the struggles and challenges of marrying and starting a family of your own can never be equaled to the joy, fulfillment and pleasure you derive from such a relationship.

If any other person advises you to seek everything else at the expense of relationships, marriage and starting a family, that person is ‘THE DEVIL’
