Climate Education Coalition: Miklah Joined 100+ Organizations & Individuals to launch the coalition at COP27, Egypt.
Climate Education Coalition is an International Umbrella of Organizations and Individuals who have come together to push for Climate Education for all. On 10th November 2022, Miklah Life gladly stood up with more than 100 organizations and individuals and launched the coalition, marking the beginning of the formal push for climate education in all schools and everywhere across the globe.
For now, you already know we have been spearheading climate and sustainability literacy for the past 5 years, right? Well, it is the whole basis of our #SacredEntrepreneurship Program. We provide information regarding sustainability (SDGs) and prepare or empower youth to start SDGs-focused initiatives, enable businesses incorporate sustainability in their business models, offer a free business directory, and try to connect these sustainable entrepreneurs to funding.
Additionally, our blog, newsletter, and social media platforms have done a lot in regards to sustainability education.
While we have been at it for all these years, we believe in the power of coalition. Yes, by becoming a formal part of more than 100 other players, including those experienced and equipped better than us, #MiklahLife can now scale faster in her ambitions to promote sustainability literacy or climate change education. Additionally, the coalition focuses on climate change only (SDG 13), which concentrates our efforts to this one SDG, amplifying the impact.
Why Climate Education Coalition?
Climate education is still very in most countries across the globe and none of UN member countries have so far fully integrated this CCE in their formal education systems. With the coalition, we wanna change all of this.
